Let’s start by the begining and the first question that most of the people ask us…
Why Bolugringos?
Well is a mix, bolu cames from Boludo a typical argentinean expression (it means everything and nothing) but we use it all the time. in the other hand we have Gringa, for agentineans is just a way to call blond, white and light couloured eyes people (just like Ali).
HOW WE MET?
TRAVELLING! of course, Me (el boludo) I’ve been travelling like a backpacker for almost 7 years mostly in Latin America and Europe, a P.E. teacher that decided to leave the rutinary life behind and started with just a backpack and no money to know the world and open his mind. working as a street artist, cook and whatever opportunity appeared. after a couple of years I had the chance to go to Europe, study and started working in cruises.
La gringa’s experience was quiet different she worked for many years fo one of the most important fashion brands, but always travelling in the free time, even changing work positions in order to travel more. one day she decided that was enough. She applied for cruises, of course she was accepted and there we met.
We’ve been friend for a couple of months but we had so many things in common, the time together was beautiful, fun and clearly better qhen we were together.
Differet things happened and we disembarked the same day, we started to plan our african trip.
Is not always easy but we still learning together, after travelling for 6 years I can say without fear, is much more better to travel with this beautiful, smart and givefull Gringa.
